Facilities are Reopening
Following the latest Government information, we're delighted to confirm that we'll be reopening our health and golf clubs on Wednesday 2nd December. We'll be in Tier 2 when we reopen, with all facilities open in line with government guidelines: gym, group exercise, wet spa, changing rooms, golf course, golf lessons, driving range, retail shop and restaurants.

We cannot wait to welcome you back to the club. To get ready for your return to the club, members still have access to our at home offering featuring live online classes and on-demand videos, via the member login.

Booking Your Tee Time

All tee times must be pre-booked online with no turn-up and play option. All tee bookings must be made via your Intelligent Golf log in. If you need to create a pin, you’ll need your membership number.

Tee Times are limited to three rounds in seven days.

Tee Times can be booked:

  • Monday to Sunday (including Bank Holidays) - 07:30 to 16.30

Arrival at the Club

Please visit the golf reception to check in for your round. The retail area and bar are open, however, any purchases made must be card payments only.

Once you have checked in please arrive at the 1st tee no earlier than 5 minutes before your start time. The chipping and putting green will be open, the cups on the putting green will be placed just above ground level and flags removed.

Please adhere to the social distancing signs and markers that have been installed. 

Playing on the Golf Course

The golf course may appear different the first time you play as some restrictions have been put in place for your safety.

The divot boxes and ball washers have been removed or covered up and benches have been put out of action. The only toilets that are in use are in the clubhouse. After you have completed your round there will be no access to the shoe cleaner.

Tee Off

You should arrive at the 1st tee no earlier than 5 minutes before your start time and adhere to any social distancing markers that have been installed. 

Playing from a Bunker

If you find yourself in a bunker you may notice that the rakes have been removed. Play your shot as you usually would but upon exiting the bunker rake over the area using your golf club.

Putting

New cups have been installed to stop any cross-contamination when you are retrieving your golf ball. The golf ball will still be able to drop into the hole but only by half a golf ball from the top. The flags must remain in the hole during play and not removed.

Competition Golf

As competitions return you will notice a few changes we have needed to make under the current restrictions.

Competition Entry

To enter a competition, please go to the Upcoming Competitions section on the home screen of intelligentgolf. You will be able to enter competitions and select a tee times across the whole day as well as be able to see who else has entered from 5 days in advance. You will be able to pay for this from your intelligentgolf account.

Topping Up

Under the MY GOLF and MY ACCOUNT sections of intelligentgolf, you will be able to top up your account via PalPal. You can do this with a PalPal account or a credit/debit card.

The intelligentgolf app will enable you to enter your scores of yours and you're playing partners.

FAQ's

Are you able to take cash?

No, the only option will be card and we ask that you use contactless where possible.

Can I just turn up at the club to see if a tee time is available?

Unfortunately not - all booking are via Intelligent Golf online to control the number of golfers in and around the golf club.

Can I just turn up for my normal ladies / seniors / swindle game of golf?

Block booking are not possible as we can’t encourage groups of golfers to meet up. You may book a tee time online at the same time you normally play if there is some remaining availability.

Is the driving range open?

Yes, open to all members and visitors. One person per bay. Card payments only, contactless if possible. Please call the club for opening times.

It’s been a while since I’ve played, I would like a lesson. Will this be available?

Yes, we are offering lessons onsite with our PGA professionals.

Why have the booking rights changed?

This is to enable us to change the booking restrictions further, within only a few days’ notice, should guidelines change.

Will I be able to get food and drink?

Yes, the bar is open with a reduced menu - find out more

Will I be able to hire a buggy or trolley?

Yes, these are available to be booked via the golf reception.

Will I be able to use the practice facilities?

Yes, they will be open - but the putting /chipping green will only be available 15 minutes before your tee time.
